DiVitas Client
Installed on the mobile handset, the DiVitas Client provides user access to DiVitas mobile communications features.
The client’s easy to use icon-driven interface enables users to navigate quickly across the mobile deskphone and communications applications such as messaging, contacts, presence, and more.
To guarantee continuous connections transparently on behalf of the user, the DiVitas client incorporates a mobility manager that constantly monitors the viability of the active network link and collaborates with the DiVitas Server on network roam decisions. The DiVitas Client can be setup easily over-the-air using text messaging or email.
DiVitas Server
Installed on the enterprise network, the DiVitas Server is designed to provide an IT managed mobility service that can be integrated with the corporate PBX. DiVitas is designed for rapid integration with a wide range of PBX solutions including Alcatel, Avaya, Asterisk, Cisco, Mitel, Nortel, Siemens, ShoreTel, and Zultys. Once the DiVitas Server is installed, smartphone handsets behave as IP deskphones, providing a cost effective option for adding mobile extensions without a system forklift.
The DiVitas Server also incorporates a mobility management service to monitor network connections with DiVitas Clients and proactively identifies the optimal network connection for each call. Roam decisions, between WiFi and mobile networks, are made automatically to ensure voice quality and reliability. Unlike other mobility products on the market, no end user action is needed to identify WiFi boundaries because the Mobility Server Manager employs Environment Aware Roaming technology to automatically detect and manage this information. Built for enterprise deployment, the DiVitas Server comes with a host of management and diagnostic tools.
